Wanting a Writing Challenge March? Then Try Out the #Blogbattle and Join Our Writing Community.

Calling all writers and wordsmiths. Announcing the #BlogBattle prompt for March for those wanting a quick writing challenge.

Let’s face it, any writing is better than no writing. If the WIP is draining the will to drink coffee, step out and try something totally different.

Engage with authors and writers and the rewards will speak for themselves.

Each month there is a new prompt. Entries are welcome any time up to the end of that month. 1000 words is a maximum, not a target. Any genre, any writing.

You can start writing at any time, but make sure you post your story by the 30th of this month to be put in the running to be highlighted by your friendly Blog Battle admins!

Once you’ve posted your story to your blog, put a link to it in the comments section, and we’ll add your story to the Battle Stories Line-up post.

Make sure to check back and read some of the stories of your fellow battlers. Leave comments to encourage these writers, and share each other’s stories!

    1. Hi Melinda, talk about time inserting itself while blinking! Three months into the new year and I’m so far behind! Scary stories have taken a slight sidestep as I’m cogitating on a new project that is more epic fantasy. These prompts are exploring backstory so safe reading for you lol. How’s you? Been quite a while since we caught up.

      1. Thanks for making the site Melinda-friendly! 😉
Been busy moving, being depressed, all the usual! lol Too long! Come see what I’ve been up to.

        1. Tell me about the usual on those things!! Fear not, horror is not entirely absent… just a turn in wordage… although it’s over a year since I actually put anything like that on here! I’ll definitely pop over this week! Time these days seems to be whooshing past and I can’t find the brakes!

  1. Well.. I will challenge mysrlf considering i haven’t written a story a long time…. wish me luck. Good luck

    1. Brilliant. I know what it’s like when you’ve not written something for ages too. Short stories using prompts can help get things started again though. Really hope you’ll join us too so good luck and I’ll be over to check it out 😊
