Are you A Writer? Then Join #BlogBattle this November and Join Our Writing Community.

Calling all writers and wordsmiths. #BlogBattle is back so come join our community and see where the prompts take you.

Let’s face it, any writing is better than no writing. If the WIP is draining the will to drink coffee, step out and try something totally different.

Engage with authors and writers and the rewards will speak for themselves.

Each month there is a new prompt. Entries are welcome any time up to the end of that month. 1000 words is a maximum, not a target. Any genre, any writing.

You can start writing at any time, but make sure you post your story by the 30th of the month to be put in the running to be highlighted by your friendly, incorrigible encouraging Blog Battle admins!

Once you’ve posted your story to your blog, put a link to it in the comments section, and we’ll add your story to the Battle Stories Line-up post.

Make sure to check back and read some of the stories of your fellow battlers. Leave comments to encourage these writers, and share each other’s stories!

The battler who is chosen in a given month will have the opportunity to be interviewed!

November 2018 Blog Battle

Our word this month is:

Educate

ANY PHOTOS INCLUDED WITH THE PROMPT ARE ONLY FOR YOUR BENEFIT AS A PINCH OF INSPIRATION. THEY DON’T NEED TO DICTATE YOUR THEME OR STORY GENRE. ONLY THE WORD OF THE MONTH COUNTS! PHOTOS ARE THANKS TO VARIOUS PHOTOGRAPHERS FROM UNSPLASH.COM

You can start writing at any time, but make sure you post your story by the 30th of the month to come into the running for featured writer by your friendly, incorrigible  encouraging Blog Battle admins!

The featured writer is by no means the ultimate story of the month. We are trying to develop a supportive community, increase engagement and shout out battlers.  To do this we need to pick one of our regular participants and give them a spotlight. The aim is to rotate who this is and give them exposure on social media.

Once you’ve posted your story to your blog, put a link to it in the comments section on the following link and we’ll add your story to the Battle Stories Line-up post.

Link your story here for pingbacks or post the URL to it.

Make sure to check back and read some of the stories of your fellow battlers. Leave comments to encourage these writers, and share each other’s stories!

    1. Oooh, you’ve done us another story. Excellent stuff Ellen. I’ll check the pingback is there now. If in doubt you can always drop the link here too in future as I’ll put it onto the BB page. Admin advantage lol

Looking forward to reading it too 😊

    1. It’s in the title image and under This Moths Word. The prompt is “Educate.” The rules establish the topic concept which is to either use the prompt word in the text or use the prompt as context which clearly links the story as the prompt. Open genre and 1000 words is a maximum not a target 😊

  1. Although I love to write, I love counseling/coaching more. Decided to stick to that and write poetry with my friend M every now and than. And of course my personal brain threads (read opinion 😛 ) I will keep sharing.
Hope you had a fantastic birthday party and all is well at your end. Hugs, XxX

    1. Totally get that Patty. We all have to stay true to purpose and try not to over complicate it with distractions. Shares are always appreciated too. The birthday was good yes. I just need to find my blog mojo again! X

    1. You should. There’s some very supportive bloggers and writers. The 1000 word count is a maximum too and not a target so it’s very flexible. Be lovely to see a contribution from you 😊

            1. Brilliant! Use the BlogBattle link inside the post so it pings back to our site. Story entries are added every Tuesday for people to read and share 😊
